I hope everyone is enjoying the conversations with your children about what they are doing in school.

Be sure to ask your child about the chromatography experiment they did in school this week. It’s an experiment that demonstrated why leaves change color. They had a chance to explore the campus on a nature walk, to collect leaves to use for their experiment. They discussed how the chlorophyll, found in all leaves, effects the color of the leaves when it breaks down. Discuss this process with them and see if they are able to explain to you how this process works.
